This is Part 2 of our deeper dive into the business self-audit as outlined by business and life coach Ted Capshaw. Last week, we took a closer look at the first two sections of the T.I.M.E. acronym: Truth and Intention.

This week I want to delve into the last two: Meaning and Entitlement.

The end of the year is a great time to complete this self-audit. It’s something I intend to do every year.

That said, this is also something that can be done periodically throughout the year. It never hurts, as the late Zig Ziglar often suggested, take a checkup from the neck up.

Indeed, a self-audit isn’t necessarily just for our business’s health. But it can encompass every part of our lives — business, physical health, relationships, and more.

So today, we’re going to look at what Meaning my writer’s life has and will have for me. In sharing my ideas, I sincerely hope it will spark an ember in yours, growing into a bonfire of excitement for the year ahead.

In the last section, I’ll talk about Entitlement.

Do you really feel, after defining your personal idea of the writer’s life, that you really deserve it?

The answer may surprise you.
